03 - Extrusion Move Rotation and Scale Modelling

I have used various techniques and processes to create this 3D model, which is very abstract and random as I have been basically playing about with all of the tools and hotkeys to learn what they do and how to use them efficiently. Firstly, I started off with a regular cube, which I extruded left, right and above so I had more area to work with. I did this using edit mode, where I enabled myself to use the tools such as extruding, distorting and bending. This  helped me become more fluent and familiar with the tools  and I also have became more confident moving around the objects with the move tools. The first initial plan was to follow instructions from a YouTube video but then after I had completed the steps, we had our own free time to extend the model further browsing through techniques. After I was happy with the model I had created, I set up the lighting so it was positioned in an angel where I would get a good quality render from, where I altered some of the settings to my own personal liking using things like: Anti analysing, freestyle, colour, etc.  For some of the shapes, I had used ctrl+R which splits the shape up into segments so I could chose specific parts of the shape I want to alter or extrude. This helped me a lot as it made the hold process easier and it seemed easier to understand where everything I needed to change was. I had also experimented by extruding a face by pressing E, and then pressing S which makes a smaller face inside of the face which could be extruded. This could be useful for modelling as it helps make things more precise and customisable. I had used a duel preview, which I originally used for an example image of the shape I was actually going to create, which helped me as I didn’t need to go back and forth which made this whole task more efficient and fast. After I was finished with the image, I set it up so that the second preview shown what the camera seen which helped me position my camera in the right position so I would get a nice render as an end product.
These are the final renders of my object that I have, which have decent lighting for a good overall render, where I used various effects to give off a cartoony vibe. I could have done these a lot better but this was my first time doing this and I think if I could change the angle of the lighting now, I could produce a higher quality and better looking image.
